about

"The Day" is a funky tune with improvised storytelling by Robert "Xeres" Shepard - a new song every time. In live performance, the song often incorporated themes in reaction to what was happening in the audience - in this version, an inebriated man who had twice knocked out the main PA power cord for the band during the show stumbled into the front of the audience and found himself becoming part of the song.
