about

Recorded in the summer of 1982 at Danny’s Pub in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh, a marathon set of 22 songs from the board; the sound of a band hitting its stride and racing across the finish line, out the exit and away from the stadium into the night. Airtight and free- blowing sounds mash-up boundaries and borders of genres with Cuisinart panache. Sparkling percussion and bungee- cord basslines coupled with coiled-spring/near-motorik drumming set the framework for gorgeous and improbable unison horn lines that weave a lo-fi web of wonder.
